A Day at Home Sick

Starting late morning yesterday, my throat began hurting pretty bad, and continously go worse as the day went on.  I told my wife, there was no way I would be going to work like this as I would be useless, but I would wait till morning to see if it were just a 24 hour bug.  Well morning came and I was even worse than the day before, it just completely hurt to talk and not only was my throat hurting but I had a major headache, and my stomach was hurting too… it was time to call the doctor to see if I could get in.

My appointment was at 2:20 PM and I was diagnoised with Strep Throat, which was both a releif and bad news, as it meant a bit more suffering, but at least antibiotics can help me.  So needleess to say, I spent the majority of day drinking fluids and sleeping, as nothing else seem to take care of my pounding headache and nothing sounded all that tasting come lunch.  And yes, I did eat lunch, I ended up at Wendy’s and got a hamburger and a frosty.

My plans are to be at work tomorrow, as since I am on antibiotics I shouldn’t be contagious anymore.
